The Alfriston War Memorial Hall (AWMH) Trust Committee sought out help, seeking donations to upgrade the hall's lighting system, crucial for local productions and events.
Serving Alfriston's residents and surrounding communities, AWMH supports a diverse mix of local clubs, societies, and events, including art workshops, historical society meetings, and the village pantomime among countless others within their local community.
One upgrade needed was an improved lighting system. It would enhance local productions and commercial offerings, benefiting the community and helping subsidise the hall.
This upgrade focused on a long term, energy efficient solution. The fundraiser, backed by Triland’s matching donation, upgraded the old existing lighting rig with more sustainable and cost-effective LEDs.
Thanks to the people of Alfriston, their surrounding area and Triland’s matching contribution, the hall was upgraded. Today, it continues to enhance community engagement, reduce social isolation, and in a more sustainable way.
