Triland Metals is part of Mitsubishi Corporation, a global integrated business enterprise that develops and operates businesses across virtually every industry including industrial finance, energy, metals, machinery, chemicals, foods, and the environment.

In 1971 Mitsubishi Corporation saw the need to set up a specialist metals trading company to hedge against price movements in the metals markets. A triple alliance took place between companies in London, New York and Tokyo, and Triland Metals was born. The main office is in London and we now have offices in New York, Tokyo and Singapore, giving us presence on the ground in key markets and in four time zones around the world.
